A meeting was held with Circle Inspector (Traffic), Mr. Ravi , on 3rd Nov 2018 (Saturday) in BELRWA Office at 11: 30 AM and the following points were discussed.

Representatives from each block of BEL-Layout have attended the meeting. President Sri. Satyanarayana Chetty has welcomed Sri. Ravi and briefed about the problems faced by residents of Vidyaranyapura regarding the traffic.  He told that roads have become accidents zones and immediate action is required for providing roads humps.

Vice-President Mr. S Prakash has briefed about providing the road humps and providing No Parking boards near Maza Thindi Hotel (Entrance to 2nd Block from Nanjappa Road)

Mr. Ravi explained that there won’t be any delay for providing the road humps form Police Department; especially in signals and circles. They have already taken sanction to provide about 28 road humps in Vidyaranyapura and Sri. Unni Krishnan Road. In case of Main roads they had interaction meetings with BBMP and appraised them to provide road humps. The accidents are mainly due to riding in high speed during night and mostly self-prone. He will instruct the traffic Police to have watch on these night riders.
